  • EXTRA CREDIT CHANCE:
    • Go to www.xtranormal.com and create an animated commercial for your cereal.
      • You will need to create an account and log in to use this site.
      • It is free, you just need your email
    • This site allows for you to create a scene using people and typing in the words.
    • Have fun with it.
    • Share it to me at ferrer01@southredford.net

Wednesday, March 27th

  • Create a TV commercial script for your Cereal Brand
  • Take a sheet of paper and fold it as a hot dog
  • Label one side as Audio and one side as Video
  • Write everything you will HEAR under audio (this includes sounds, music, words and anything else you hear) and then across from it, write what you will SEE under video
    • Make sure to keep the audio and video together (skip lines if necessary)
  • You must say the name of your cereal at least 4 times
  • You must say the brand at least once
  • You must include your Jingle
  • You must tell people why they will want to buy it
  • This should be between 25-35 seconds--Used the Google Stopwatch to make sure it is long enough
  • Turn it in to Mrs. Ferris when you are done

  • Quiz on Kids Advertising--15 minutes after the start of the class
  • Read this article and complete the questions
    • Email it or see Mrs. Ferris for a copy you can write on if you prefer

  • I will be checking in your projects today. I will have 3 check in sessions during the hour--When you are ready, bring your completed box, your written part and yourself back to the back table to be graded
